Manufacturers of mining equipment present their technological innovations at M&T Expo 2012
The 45 thousand visitors who are expected at M&T Expo 2012 – the 8th International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and 6th International Trade Fair for Mining Equipment.
The 45 thousand visitors who are expected at M&T Expo 2012 – the 8th International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and 6th International Trade Fair for Mining Equipment, from May 29th to June 2nd at the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes (Imigrantes Exhibition Center) in São Paulo - Brazil, will have the opportunity to get to know the latest technological innovations in mining equipment. The main manufacturers of equipment for the area of mining are among the 480 exhibitors who will display and demonstrate a total of 1000 brands at the event.
Among what’s new in the area of mining to be presented at the trade show is equipment, both national and international, applied in the extraction, transporting and processing of mineral ore. Metso, for example, will bring to the show its recently announced C120 jaw crusher which was designed and manufactured for stationary and mobile applications. Developed based on actual experience in the field, the C120’s crushing cavity, kinematics and operational parameters were defined and optimized to ensure excellence in yield and productivity in mining and in quarries.
Besides the C120, Metso will also present at the event its HRCTM crushers for the production of fine and extra-fine particle fractions, capable of processing the most abrasive and hardest of materials, regardless of the size of the feed material and the amount of moisture it contains; and its HP3 cone crushers - a new generation that follows the success of Metso’s HP4 and HP5 as the third model in the new series of high performance cone crushers. These cone crushers provide a unique combination of crushing speed (rpm), throw, and crushing cavity design.
Bercam Indústria e Comércio Ltda., which manufactures equipment for mining, will also bring to this year’s edition of M&T Expo its new product introduction for crushing: Bercam’s VSI Crusher, which provides an excellent cost-to-benefit ratio. Besides this introduction, Bercam will also present another model of cone crusher - the 1200 SX - which is one of the most sought after in the market due to its high performance and great production capacity.
Bercam manufactures a complete line of equipment for mining: Cone Crushers, Jaw Crushers, Vibrating Feeders, Vibrating Chutes, Mobile Conveyors and Conveyor Belts - in addition to supplying a full line of OEM replacement and spare parts; serving all of Brazil and the Mercosur. Established in the city of Piracicaba, in the interior of São Paulo state, the company is in the process of expanding its manufacturing plant in order to prepare itself for an expected increase in demand over the coming years.
Equipment manufacturer Wolf will exhibit at M&T Expo 2012 the third generation in the company’s lineup of hydraulic crawler rock-drilling rigs - the FOX line - which consists of three models of equipment: the FOX 12-10 (the basic model without a cowling), FOX 12-20 (intermediate model equipped with cowling and without a cab) and FOX 12-30 (the complete model equipped with air-conditioned cab).
The equipment that Wolf will have on exhibit at M&T Expo can be used in quarrying and open pit mining operations. The three model options that will be on display at the trade show enable drilling to depths of up to 28 meters (91.9ft), with a variation in drilling diameter from 63 mm to 102 mm and with a feed force of 20kN. Optional features include an air-conditioned cab, water tank, automatic greaser, spotlights, digital inclinometer, dust collector, bit grinder and horn.
Atlas Copco, in turn, will take the opportunity provided by M&T Expo to strengthen the promotion of its most recent product introduction; in fact, a range of four rig-mounted bucket crushers that the company has just launched on the market. The main advantage provided by this product in the area of mining is the ability to crush and process materials on site, right where it’s collected. In addition, Atlas Copco will also present its full line of new models covering virtually all the company’s portfolio of products - from air compressors to drilling equipment. With a focus on energy efficiency, the range of Atlas Copco machines aims to provide high productivity while ensuring low operating costs.
Further still for the area of mining, exhibitors at M&T Expo 2012 are preparing other product introductions such as hammer mills, separators, classifiers, belts and components for conveyance of rock and stones, vibrators, mixers and floaters, as well as other devices.
