Concrete mixer for the mining area is a world introduction of Putzmeister in M&T Expo 2012

Putzmeister presents in M&T Expo 2012 the Mixkret 4 concrete mixer, to mix and transport concrete, a worldwide introduction in the shotcrete area in mining. The new concrete mixer has smaller dimensions and 4 maneuvering wheels (crab type) which guarantee a better maneuverability in tunnels and mines. Equipped with a 4m³ mixing drum to mix, transport and discharge, it has a 130 kW diesel engine which provides one of the best traction and movement capacities in the category.

Romano Rosa, Putzmeister general director announces – for 2012 already – the nationalization of the auto-pumps line with Putzmeister boom. The process will enable the customers to by the machines via Finame, as it already happens with the concrete auto-pumps and the towable concrete pumps of Putzmeister. “Putzmeister philosophy is to produce increasingly more equipments in the country”, says Rosa.

In the mortar segment, Putzmeister new introductrion is the new wall plaster work machine which offers a gain that is almost four times in man/hour productivity as compared to the previous model. “Before it was possible to obtain 150 m²/day with 12 operators; Today, with eight operators, we produce 350 m²/day, an almost four times gain in productivity”, says Rosa.
