The 3rd edition of the Sobratema Forum - Brazil Infrastructure, to be held on October 30th at the ‘Centro Fecomercio de Eventos’ in the city of São Paulo, has chosen “Technology and Innovation” as its core theme. The choice was based on the importance of these two subjects for the sustainable growth of the sector of infrastructure in Brazil.

Innovation enables the entire chain of production linked to the area of infrastructure to remain competitive (in an environment that is increasingly more globalized) via the development of new products, materials, and production processes that lead to increases in productivity, reduction in costs and shorter project timelines for the thousands of construction works underway in the country. Innovation also contributes toward improvements in strategic management since it drives companies to continually seek new challenges in the market.

Directed toward professionals of all kinds in the chain of production in the construction business and professionals devoted to research, development and innovation, the Sobratema Forum - Brazil Infrastructure will present talks and lectures by renowned professionals and will be a place for discussion and generation of relevant information on the economic and technical scenario, which involves innovation and technology, so as to help participants make appropriate decisions for their businesses.

In addition, the Sobratema Forum will provide an opportunity to understand that innovation is not limited to large companies and multinationals, but is also within the reach of medium-sized and small companies that have access to tools that help to foster the development of innovation in any kind of environment.
