Association will have a booth at the show to promote Construction Expo 2013 - International Trade Show of Building & Infrastructure Construction - Services, Material and Equipment
Sobratema – the Brazilian Association of Technology for Equipment and Maintenance is organizing, in collaboration with the U.S. Commercial Service, a technical mission that will take a delegation of business people and professionals from Brazil’s area of mining to MINExpo International 2012 - the world’s largest trade show for the sector, taking place this coming September 24th to 26th in Las Vegas, Nevada - USA.
MINExpo will exhibit, in twelve indoor halls and outdoor areas of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the products and services offered by over 1800 exhibitors, ranging from the latest technologies, equipment, components, and parts and services for exploration, extraction, safety, environmental preparation and recovery, to processing of metallic ores, coal, industrial ores, etc.
Sobratema’s goal in organizing this mission is to provide an opportunity for Brazilian business people to get to know the product introductions and news in the segment, and to network with international companies and professionals from the worldwide global mining community since, so far, 27 foreign delegations have confirmed their participation at the event, along with visitors from over 100 different countries.
Besides coordinating the technical mission, Sobratema will also have a booth at the event (Central Hall 2 - Booth # 5029) where it will promote and provide information on Construction Expo 2013 - a show that will gather all of the players in Brazil’s construction business chain in June of next year to present their introductions, news in materials, services and equipment, and technological innovations for application in this market. Besides the exhibition itself, Construction Expo will concurrently hold a Congress (the Sobratema Congress) to debate issues of relevance to the segment.
Construction Expo 2013 will be held at a time when the outlook is good for the areas of building, realty and infrastructure construction, since the recent measures announced by Brazil’s Federal Government, such as the “Program for Acceleration of Growth (PAC) for Concessions” - which includes the privatization of 7500 kilometers of highways and 10 000 km of railways -, indicate acceleration in the execution of works all over the country in preparation for two major international events scheduled to take place in the next few years: the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
