For the first time, Sobratema – the Brazilian Association of Technology for Equipment and Maintenance will participate in MADE expo, from October 17 to 20, 2012 in Milan-Italy. At the association’s stand, visitors will find information and details about Construction Expo 2013 – the 2nd International Trade Show of Building and Infrastructure Construction which will take place in the city of São Paulo, Brazil next June.
The initiative of participating in one of the main European trade shows for architecture and building was prompted by the character of MADE expo’s proposition: to present the widest and most complete range of products and solutions for the area of building construction and promote the utilization of the most advanced techniques and materials for the development of a new setting for urban realty through the construction of new buildings and residences that adhere to criteria for safety and sustainability.
MADE expo’s goal harmonizes with the proposition of Construction Expo 2013 which will promote the integration of the chain of production in the construction business and display what’s new in materials, services and equipment, and technological innovations for application in buildings - including residences, office and industrial buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, etc. - in addition to product introductions for the area of heavy construction. Taking place concurrently with Construction Expo, the Sobratema Congress – Buildings & Infrastructure Works will debate themes of the greatest relevance to the sector of construction.
Brazil is experiencing a period of good prospects in the area of construction with significant investment in the building sector, which includes the Brazilian government’s “Minha Casa Minha Vida” (My house, My life) program targeting the construction of affordable social housing that will receive investments totaling some R$ 2.8 billion (US$ 1.5 billion) in the program’s second stage. As regards infrastructure, a series of measures were announced to speed up the execution of works all over the country in preparation for the two major events that Brazil will host in the near future: the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
MADE expo will have the participation of the main companies in the area of construction, among which are: BASF, BINDER, DAMIANI, FASSA, GRIFFNER, HALFEN DEHA, HUF HAUS, ITALCEMENTI, KNAUF, LATERCOM, LATERLITE, MAPEI, PFEIFER, ROCKWOOL, RUBNER, SCHNELL, SISTEM, SOMAIN, STRATEX, TECNOSTRUTTURE, URSA, WOLF and WUERTH .
