Study of the Brazilian market is presented to top management of Dutch investment bank
A group of some 30 professionals of the Banco De Lage Landen Brasil including the bank’s president, directors, superintendent.
SOBRATEMA – the Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining – presented the ‘Sobratema Study of the Brazilian Market for Construction Equipment’ to a group of some 30 professionals of the Banco De Lage Landen Brasil including the bank’s president, directors, superintendent, managers and members of their staff on last July 23rd at the TRYP Sao Paulo Berrini Hotel in the city of São Paulo-Brazil. The presentation was given by Brian Nicholson – consultant to Sobratema.
In his presentation, Nicholson addressed trends in the Brazilian market for construction equipment and the prospects for investment in infrastructure in Brazil over the coming years. Next to present to the group was Mario Bernardini – director of the ‘Departamento de Competitividade, Economia e Estatísticas’ (DCEE – Department of Competitiveness, Economics and Statistics) and advisor to the president of ABIMAQ – Brazilian Machinery Builders’ Association - who spoke about public investment and indicators of economic activity for the Brazilian industry of mechanical capital goods.
