Guia Sobratema de Equipamentos 2013-2015 will show more than 500 national and imported pieces of equipment, divided in eleven families

Sobratema will publish, next November 13^th, in São Paulo, a new guide with data about pieces of equipment for load handling and work in high altitude.

Guia Sobratema de Equipamentos 2013-2015 will display more than 500 pieces of national and imported equipment, divided in eleven families: elevators, forklifts, articulated cranes, cranes with telescopic boom, on truck – TC, cranes with telescopic boom on truck – AT, cranes with telescopic boom on truck – RT, tower cranes, cranes on tracks with telescopic boom and lattice cranes on tracks, telescopic handlers and aerial work platforms.    

According to Paulo Oscar Auler Neto, Sobratema vice-president, the idea to publish a new Guide, with the unpublished data compilation for the market, arose to meet a market need, as there is no publication showing technical data and complete specification of equipment for material handling and work in high altitude available in the Brazilian market. “Our objective is to offer a tool that contributes to the daily activities of executives, engineers and professionals who are accountable for purchasing and operating pieces of equipment, thus contributing to the decision making and the productivity in a jobsite”, he explains.

One of the news of the forthcoming guide is that it will be printed in one volume, with an estimated number of 500 pages, and should be directly accessed by the Guide official site, which is in the implementation phase. By means of the website, the professional will be able to be aware of each and every equipment technical data and specifications, as well as to make comparison between the machines, among other functionalities.

Furthermore, the Guide will also have a version for tablets and smartphones, with iOS and Android operational systems, to enable the quick access to information any time and any place, such as, for example, at a jobsite or in a business meeting.
