A group of 20 Odebrecht professionals of projects from Brazil and abroad attended a course of Rigger, promoted by Instituto Opus, from August 19^th thru 23^rd. The course was given in Odebrecht Bonsucesso Unit facilities (AFEq), by the instructor Oswaldo Antonio Biltoveni.

The 40 hour long course broached themes such as: types, models, applicability and technology of cranes in use in Brazil, calculations, dimensioning, and solutions in load fastening, load tables interpretation and reading, determining factors in operations with more than one crane and rigging plan preparation.

According to Wilson de Mello Jr., director of Instituto Opus, the capacitation is essential so that the professional is prepared to properly exercise his/her functions. “In the case of this course, specifically, it takes the necessary knowledge so that the professional can plan the operation, define the equipment, the fastening system, among others”, he explains.
