Núcleo Jovem establishes as its main headlines to stimulate actions turned to aftersales and to discussion of NRs

Núcleo Jovem da Sobratema is formed by executives and professionals of construction contractors, mining companies, equipment manufacturers, rental companies and dealers

To stimulate better actions of aftersales in the Brazilian market of equipment through the creation of a process of suppliers’ evaluation; to discuss ways to contribute to the content of the NRs (Regulating Standards) applied to the area of construction and mining; to establish a permanent committee to discuss questions related to safety in both areas; to create a group to deal with specific subjects in the area of concrete pumping. These were the main headlines that came out from the 4th meeting of the Núcleo Jovem da Sobratema, carried out in October 3 at the headquarters of Atlas Copco at Barueri/SP.

The main subjects discussed in the meeting were the problems generated in the areas of construction and mining by the countless rules—many of them conflicting with each other—contained in the several Regulating Standards (NRs) that control the activities of both areas. Considering the urgency and the importance of discussing problems of this nature, the members agreed in giving them special attention in the next meetings and in the regular activities of the Núcleo Jovem da Sobratema. And the immediate actions to be carried out will involve a research—in the main companies of the industry—of experts that face in their day-to-day the problems related to the NRS, to discuss practical solutions. This subject will also be part of the next meetings of the Núcleo Jovem.

Formed this year, the Núcleo Jovem gathers executives and professionals of construction contractors, mining companies, equipment manufacturers, rental companies and equipment dealers. Its main purpose is the development of leaderships in a way to contribute for the improvement of the activities in construction and mining industry. “We have to stimulate the leaderships of the several areas where Sobratema is present. We are working in important areas of the construction market, but we have a limitation for the development of the actions. If we have new leaderships, we may go ahead and continue to grow”, stated Afonso Mamede, president of the entity.

According to him, as new leaderships are coming out, they will need backup, tools and resources to ensure our advance as entity in the various segments. “Without leadership, anything is possible. It is important to gather more and more collaborators to this Núcleo Jovem adding their action to ours, in a way that we can aggregate value to our work”, finished Mamede. He also pointed out that to stimulate the income of new people is important to continue the entity’s work. There was a consensus among the participants about the need of establishing concrete targets and strong flags with well-defined practical focuses. All participants understand that this moves and helps to attract new leaderships for the group, enhancing its work.

In this sense, the fourth meeting of the Núcleo Jovem showed that the group is in the right way, since three new members were presented: David Rodrigues (Makro Engenharia), Ricardo Pagliarini Zurita (Liebherr) and Thomás M. Spana (John Deere). After announcing the new members, Carlos Frateschi and Fernando Groba Porto, respectively President and Business Manager of the Portable Energy Division of Atlas Copco—which sponsored the meeting—made a short presentation of the company’s activities.

Next, Rodrigo Konda, coordinator of the Núcleo Jovem, and Bruno Marques, from the Marketing area of Sobratema presented the actions that are already being adopted by the group and detailed the structure of a new process of aftersales evaluation. Such evaluation will be carried out for five categories: Earth and rock excavation, people and load handling, concrete, paving and industrial equipment. Each category will be analyzed according to its requirements of quality of field attendance, as well as of spare parts and services. The focus is to stimulate the improvement of aftersales services rendered by equipment manufacturers to the users of construction and mining areas.

Besides Konda and Marques, the group is formed by Alisson Daniel (Escad), Carlos Di Martino (Manitowoc), Felipe Cavalieri (BMC), Francisco Neto (Queiroz Galvão), Guilherme Guimarães (Andrade Gutierrez), Igor Boff (I.V. Guindastes), João Giatti (Caterpillar), Jonny Altstadt Junior (Terratest), Luis Filipe Mamede (HLT), Luiz Gustavo Pereira (Tracbel), Luiz Polachini (Schwing Stetter), Pedro Bianchi (Camargo Corrêa), Ricardo Pendek (Atlas Copco), Roberto Carvalho (Triunfo), Romiyoshi Sasaki (Grupo Base) and Vinícius Marques (Razac).
