This edition will celebrate 20 years of the well-succeeded path of this trade show and will include a Congress to discuss main subjects related to this industry

A new edition of the M&T EXPO – International Trade Show and Congress of Equipment for Construction and Mining will be carried out between June 9 and 13, 2015, in the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, new name of the Imigrantes Exhibition Center. Considered the most important event of the Latin American industry, it will show new products and technologies developed by the main manufacturers of Brazilian and foreign markets.

Among the confirmed exhibitors are the following: Ammann do Brasil, Astec do Brasil, Atlas Copco, Ausa, BMC-Hyundai, Case Construction Equipment, Caterpillar, Doosan, Gascom, Guiton Socage, Haulotte, Imap, JCB, JLG, John Deere/Hitachi, Komatsu, LDA Tanques, Liebherr, Lintec-Ixon, Machbert, Manitou Brasil, New Holland Construction, Palfinger, Proton Primus, Putzmeister, Randon Veículos, Romanelli, Rontan, Rossetti, Sany, Schwing-Stetter, Skyjack, Tadano Brasil, Terex Latin America, Volvo Construction Equipment, Wacker Neuson, Wirtgen Group, Wolf, XCMG, XGMA, Yanmar, among others.

According to Hugo Ribas Branco, director of Trade Shows and Operations of Sobratema, that promotes and organizes the M&T EXPO, the support and participation of main manufacturers of this industry are being fundamental to ensure the role that the Trade Show was performing during all these years: to present the technical development, to anticipate trends and to promote business deals. “In almost two decades of activity, the Trade Show is being the meeting point of all the productive chain of construction and mining industry, including new products and technologies, relationship between users and manufacturers and a lot of sales”, explains him.

The M&T EXPO 2015 will be special because it will celebrate 20 years of a well-succeeded path of this Trade Show. Its first edition occurred in 1995, with 7500 visitors and 70 exhibitors representing 95 brands. The last edition, carried out in 2012, had 54597 visitors and 494 exhibitors, representing 1042 brands. Currently, the Trade Show is carried out each three years.

“The first edition was a milestone for the industry because it offered an opportunity to open markets, show new products and help to develop the industry as a whole. At that time there was no exhibition directed exclusively to this area”, remembers Ribas.

In addition to the celebration of this important date, M&T EXPO 2015 will carry out the Congress—from June 10 to 12, 2015—to discuss the main subjects related to the industry of construction and mining equipment. Having a program content composed by seminars to be presented by experts and professionals of the area, its purpose is to contribute in spreading technical and market knowledge, and in increasing competitiveness and productivity of the companies involved.
