Young Core starts a work group to debate Regulating Standards (NRs)

Purpose of works is to enhance the participation of the industry in the discussions related to development and revision of the NRs

The Young Core of Sobratema continues enlarging its activities in a way to send to the board of directors of the entity suggestions that support the development of Brazilian construction and mining industries. According to that position, a work group was created to discuss the regulating standards (NRs), their revisions and their impacts on productivity, safety and quality in both industries.

According to Rodrigo Konda, coordinator of the Young Core, this work group was created to ensure that contractors, quarries, manufacturers and rental companies may take active part in the discussions related to the development and revision of NRs, bringing technical information and also sharing experiences and challenges found in their worksites. “It will also be a way to mobilize the public opinion about a subject that is quite relevant to our industry”, adds him.

The Work Group will be coordinated by Wilson de Mello Jr., Sobratema’s director of human development certification, who has a deep experience in the area. Other professionals take part in the work group: Bernardo Uliana (Tracbel), Claudio Jose Castro Silva (Queiroz Galvão), Cláudio Morais (Makro Engenharia), Daniel Rocha (Liebherr), Daniel Zacher (John Deere), Décio de Melo (Odebrecht), Gustavo da Fonseca (Manitowoc), Lupércio de Almeida Filho (IV Guindastes), Rainer Rostirolla (Queiroz Galvão), Raljo Borges Naylor (Queiroz Galvão).

“The work group will be a differentiated interface that will send to the companies what is being carried out in the Permanent Regional Commissions (CPRs) and in the National Permanent Commission (CPN) of the NRs. And we will take to these commissions the opinions of businessmen about the subjects that are being discussed”, explains him.
