Instituto Opus discloses its program of courses for 2015

Rigger and Rigging Supervisor are two of the courses that will be offered along the year

Instituto Opus—program of Sobratema turned to training and updating of professionals through theoretical and practical approaches directed to the construction and mining industries—discloses its program of courses for 2015.

One of the courses to be given along the year is Rigger training, directed to the professionals responsible by planning load lifting operations. Its comprehensive program content allows the student to get the theoretical knowledge needed to design a rigging plan.

Another course to be carried out along the year is that of Rigging Supervisor, that includes theoretical and practical information to allow the professional to understand and identify the concepts included in the Rigging Plan and to use them in a correct and safe way, ensuring the best operation of the process.

The courses given by the Instituto Opus match the standards of internationally distinguished institutes in teaching and certification of equipment operators and have varied lengths. Pre-requirements needed are basically Driver’s License (Type D), health certificate and basic fundamental schooling certificate (for operators) and medium, technical or university course (for the other courses).

Since it was founded, the Instituto OPUS graduated more than 6,000 students for more than 500 companies, not only in Brazil but also in countries such as Venezuela, Libya and Mozambique.
