M&T EXPO Congress will debate the most relevant subjects of equipment industry for construction and mining

One of the main news of the M&T EXPO 2015 – 9th International Trade Show and Congress of Construction Equipment and 7th international Trade Show and Congress of Mining Equipment is a Congress integrated to the Trade Show to debate the main subjects that drive these industries.

 M&T EXPO Congress will be carried out between June 10 and 12 at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, new name of the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes. It will include a comprehensive program of seminars and special events to be organized by entities of the industry and by the exhibitors. “This format—with the participation of the main associations related to construction—increases the level of technical and market information to be transmitted to the public of the Congress. They have higher knowledge and focus in specific subjects of interest for businessmen and professionals of the area”, points out Paulo Oscar Auler Neto, vice-president of Sobratema – Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining, that is organizing the event.

Making part of the special events, the 3rd National Congress of Rental Valorization—that will be carried out at June 11 by Analoc – Brazilian Association of Unions, Associations and Dealers of Equipment, Machine and Tool Rental Companies—will give updated information about macro-economy, investments, labor and other subjects that could be aligned with the day-to-day of rental companies. The 6th ENAMMIN –National Meeting of Small and Medium Mining Companies will be carried out by Signus Editora, and the course Concrete Precast Units – a complete approach from factory to worksites will be coordinated by Abcic – Brazilian Association of Industrial Concrete Construction and will show a comprehensive view of the processes involving the manufacturing of precast units, from the design to the final assemblage, including subjects of quality control.

A special event will be carried out in June 10 by Sobratema and IOPEX – Institute for Operational Excellence Brasil. The 2nd International Summit of Operational Excellence and Lean Construction will include conferences given by experts from Brazil and foreign countries. According to Auler Neto, these conferences will deal with the development of innovative solutions that may help contractors to optimize works and corporative processes, focusing on the reduction of time and cost in a way to get relevant results since the start of each project. Highlights are for Lean Production Systems that result from the Lean Construction philosophy.

Sobratema will have two more seminars: one given by the Instituto Opus and other about the Brazilian Market of Construction Equipment, which will include analyses and comments about the industry behavior in this first half of the year, the demand for equipment and the results of the 2015 survey. The conference will be carried out by the expert consultant Brian Nicholson. Both events are programmed for June 11.

Seminars to be carried out by Abimaq – Brazilian Association of Machine and Equipment Industry, by CBT – Brazilian Committee of Tunnels, by Sinicesp – Union of Heavy Construction in the State of São Paulo and by Sindipesa – National Union of Heavy and Special Load Transport and Handling Companies, as well as by the exhibiting companies Caimex, JLG, Solinftec and ZF do Brasil are also confirmed.

M&T EXPO 2015

M&T EXPO 2015 is the largest trade show of Latin American industry of construction and mining equipment. Main manufacturers of the industry will take part in the event. They are preparing news for the expected 54,000 visitors, a qualified public that will come from all regions of Brazil and from foreign countries. The trade show will have more than 500 national and international exhibitors corresponding to more than 1000 brands that will point out the high level of technologic development of the industry.

This edition will also be a milestone: 20 years of a well succeeded path of the trade show. The first edition, carried out in 1995 was an important step for the equipment industry since there was no event of this size in the area and the manufacturers had to go to events of other areas to show their products, get more visibility and sell their machines.

M&T EXPO is currently considered the main showcase of new models, a place for discussions and debates about the most important subjects of the area and an appropriate environment for business deals. In its last edition, carried out in 2012, it achieved record figures, presenting 1042 brands and about 3500 machines shown by 494 national and international exhibitors. Qualified public was of 54,597 professionals coming from Brazil and foreign countries.
