Construction Expo 2016 was launched in the M&T Expo 2015

Trade show will be carried out in June, 2016 and will present innovative solutions for urban infrastructure

Sobratema – Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining carried out in Wednesday 10—during the M&T Expo 2015—the official launching event of the Construction Expo – International Trade Show and Congress of Edifications and Infrastructure Works. Its third edition will be carried out in June 15 to 17 in São Paulo, having as its main approach “Moving cities – Constructive Solutions for Municipalities.”

“Construction Expo 2016 will stimulate companies, public managers, consultants and public institutions to show products, services and solutions to improve and update Brazilian cities, focusing cases developed in Brazil and in foreign countries”, highlighted Afonso Mamede, president of Sobratema, during the launching ceremony of the trade show. In his point of view, this will be a unique event in the Brazilian market of trade shows, a huge business opportunity and a showcase for improvement of urban centers of the country.

Considered the main event of Brazilian construction business, the Construction Expo 2016 will attract the interest of professionals that work in construction and engineering areas and also of public managers, consultants and public and private institutions. One of the purposes of this trade show is to bring closer public managers, mayors, governors and secretaries that are currently dealing with urban works and infrastructure, as well as all people involved in the construction chain.

Promoter’s expectation is to install approximately 300 exhibitors in an area of 40,000 sq.mt. and to receive a public of approximately  20,000 visitors. “The trade show will promote closer relationships between public managers and companies specialized in supplying engineering solutions, promoting ideas and showing well-succeeded projects, as well as executive features to improve urban infrastructures”, ended Mamede.
