Sobratema Guide 2016-2017 has more than 1000 machines for load handling, vertical transport and work in high places

 During the strategic event Tendências no Mercado da Construção (Trends in the Construction Market) Sobratema – Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining will present the edition 2016-2017 of the Sobratema Equipment Guide. This publication organizes and gathers technical specifications of 1046 national and imported models of 67 manufacturers, used in vertical transport, load handling and work in high places.

Considered an indispensable tool for engineers, technicians and professionals of the industries of construction, mining, industrial, agriculture, that deal directly or indirectly with machines, the Guide makes available information classified by equipment family. There are 15 families in the Guide: seven of cranes (knuckle-boom cranes, truck cranes with telescopic boom – TC, all-terrain truck cranes with telescopic boom – AT,  rough terrain cranes with telescopic boom – RT, tower cranes and crawler cranes with telescopic and lattice boom) and five of aerial work platforms (articulated, scissor, telescopic, spider and single-person), besides elevators, forklifts and telehandlers.

In this ninth edition, Sobratema included again technical texts of support, which deal with subjects related to equipment management. These are important and qualified information to support the knowledge of the professional. Their subjects include: emission control, conversion of units, shop sizing, incoterms, performance factors, ISO 9000, weight control act, lubrication, tire classification, ROPS/FOPS, tire selection and others.

The Sobratema Equipment Guide 2016-2017 has 386 pages and shows an optimized layout, designed to make quick and easy the search of technical data of each equipment model and the handling of the printed version. According to the family of machines it is possible to find up to six machines per page (as occurs, for example, in the family of forklifts). To do so, technical drawings and tables will be available only in the official website www.guiasobratema.org.br. In the site, the user may also find a tool for equipment comparison (inside the same family) and may know the different models of each manufacturer available in the national market. There is also information about manufacturers and dealers in the whole country.

For the owners of tablets and smartphones with iOS and Android systems, the Guide application is available in the shops Apple Store and Google Play. This exclusive version allows the user to access data in a quick and safe way at any time and in any place such as, for example, a business meeting, a trip or a worksite.
