According to Afonso Mamede, president of Sobratema—who carried out the first lecture of the event—the Construction Expo 2016 will receive the visitation of professionals of engineering and architecture and is focused in the interests of its exhibitors and of the entire chain of the construction business. “The thematic exhibitions will be an important differential of the Trade Show because they supply to the visitor complete information about the design and the works. In other words, they show the suppliers of the construction systems, equipment and materials”, pointed him.
An initiative of Inovatech Engenharia/Casa AQUA and Sobratema – Associação Brasileira de Tecnologia para Construção e Mineração (Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining), organizer of the trade show, the Sustainability Exhibition will show—between June 15 and 17 at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center—how different technologies may be used together, increasing results through the synergy between the solutions.
The conference about this pioneer space was given by the engineer Luiz Henrique Ferreira, director of Inovatech Engenharia. “The exhibition will have a different approach. It will bring, for example, the issue of circular economy, showing solutions to face the lack of natural resources and developing the context of population distribution”, told him. “Our expectation is to give to the visitor a practical, sensitive and interactive experiment of sustainability and ecologic efficiency in the construction. In addition, companies may understand how to carry out their business facing a reality where a lack of natural resources is occurring”, complemented him.
Another question was the concept of incorporated water and power, where not only the use of natural resources in the worksite but also the use of these resources to manufacture construction materials and equipment and to develop industrial construction systems is taking into account. “This will be the next step in terms of sustainability”, points out the director of Inovatech, who also talked about the impact of these processes on the structural calculation of a project.
For the professionals that took part in the starting event of the Sustainability Exhibition, this is a pioneer, innovative and interesting initiative. The commercial manager of H2XTech Brasil, Araan Ionai, stated that the proposal of the Exhibition and of the Construction Expo 2016 has synergy with the targets of his company. “I am quite excited with the Trade Show. Our Idea is aligned with what was presented, not being restricted to the triple bottom line, but searching for new markets and innovative technologies in the lighting industry”, explained him. “The proposal of explaining to the market the application of products and of giving information to the visitor about new technologies, their benefits and advantages add much more than just the trade show pattern that we are accustomed to see: each one in its place. This is the innovation that the Trade Show is bringing to the market”.
The professor Manuel Carlos Reis Martins, executive coordinator of the process AQUA-HQE (High Environmental Quality) of the Foundation Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, highlighted the importance of this initiative. “Construction Expo 2016 has a high frequency of entrepreneurs, businessmen of all areas of construction and also professionals connected to these areas. These are the people that lead the development of construction processes. This is important because will allow the public to have access and contact with the issues of sustainability in a practical way, showing real examples and proposals and understanding how to contribute with sustainability in terms of environment and also business”, ended him.
The third lecture was given by the pressman Enio Campoi, director of Mecânica de Comunicação and press officer of Construction Expo 2016. He detailed the strategic planning and the actions for the press before, during and after the Trade Show.
The main subject of the Construction Expo 2016, “Moving Cities – Constructive Solutions for the Municipalities” will also include: “Integrated Sectorial Exhibitions”, carried out in partnership with the specific entities of each area of the construction industry, integrating events and exhibitions of this industry in a single place; the “Construction Expo 2016 Congress”, that will discuss the main subjects involving the universe of cities in Brazil; and the “traditional area of stands”, involving national and international manufacturers, suppliers and other service renders in the several areas of construction.
