Event will have a Congress composed by two Seminars and an Interactive Exhibition

The event will be the ideal place for public managers, industry entities, companies, technical communities of construction, engineering and urbanism, specialized media and other public to join themselves to debate the present and the future of construction industry as a whole and its “interface” with Brazilian cities, as well as trends, new technologies and constructive systems used in urban infrastructure projects. 

With the participation of remarkable national and international experts, the Construction Summit will include a Congress composed by two seminars. The first seminar—organized by Sobratema in partnership with WRI Brasil—will have as its main subject “Moving cities”, which will include two panels to debate two subjects: “Technology and Financing for Infrastructure and Services” and “Mobility, Acessibility and Urban Development”.

The second seminar will also be organized by Sobratema and will have a comprehensive approach to discuss Construction Technologies and Systems. It will also gather important national and international entities of the industry, including its entire production chain. The following entities will be present: Abcem – Associação Brasileira da Construção Metálica, Abcic – Associação Brasileira da Construção Industrializada de Concreto, Abendi – Associação Brasileira de Ensaios Não Destrutivos e Inspeção, Abramat – Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Materiais de Construção, Abridef - Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Revendedores de Serviços para Pessoas com Deficiência, Analoc – Associação Brasileira dos Sindicatos, Associações e Representantes dos Locadores de Equipamentos, Máquinas e Ferramentas, CBCA – Centro Brasileiro da Construção em Aço, CBT – Comitê Brasileiro de Túneis, Drywall – Associação Brasileira do Drywall, FNP – Frente Nacional dos Prefeitos, Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, IABr – Instituto Aço Brasil, ITS – Instituto de Tecnologia Social and Sinaenco - Sindicato Nacional das Empresas de Arquitetura e Engenharia Consultiva

Other entities, such as Consultoria NGI – Núcleo de Gestão e Inovação, ITA – Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, Inovatech Engenharia, Escritório Comercial do Peru no Brasil, and WOC – World of Concrete—which will present concrete technologies used in key international projects showing how the use of material research, studies of contractor’s efficiency and new technologic developments contribute to construction—are also confirmed for this Seminar. 

In addition to the Congress, the Construction Summit 2016 will have an area for exhibitions, which will show technical and specialized content about the main themes of both seminars. Main highlights are Mostra VivaCidade, Exposição Cidades em Movimento (partnerships with city governments that will show their well-succeeded cases of urban infrastructure), Mostra Construção Seca, Encontro das Startups da Construção, Mostra da Sustentabilidade and Programa Produtividade e Industrialização. Approximately 15 partner magazines will also participate, concentrated in an area called Media Center.
