Sobratema prepares a new edition of M&T Parts and Services

EVENT WILL SHOW THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES IN THE AREAS OF MANAGEMENT, AFTERSALES, BULK MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MINING EQUIPMENT

The forecast that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will resume a growing path in 2017 and the intention of the government in restarting investments in infrastructure—specially through concessions and public-private partnerships—together with national and international investments that are already coming up bring good expectations for the construction industry.

“The retaking of our economy passes necessarily by the return on infrastructure investments. With a higher volume of projects and works, equipment that currently are parked in contractor and locator yards will start to work again. This whole situation will allow the construction chain to grow again”, says Afonso Mamede, president of Sobratema – Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining.

Therefore, Mamede thinks that the search for maintenance and equipment management solutions by these companies will be critical. “In a first moment, the focus will be obviously maintenance, looking for cost reduction with solutions in aftersales, service, parts and components. To start new projects, new concepts in fleet management will be the main subject to ensure higher productivity, control and management”, explains him.

To face this demand, Sobratema is preparing a new edition of M&T Parts and Services – Trade Show and Congress of Technology and Management for Construction and Mining Equipment, to be carried out in June, 2017 at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, in the city of São Paulo. “Good solutions for reducing part and service costs and news on fleet management are just the products that will be shown in this third edition”, emphasizes Mamede.

The event will be once again the ideal place to follow the development of the industry, a meeting point to close deals and the appropriate environment to spread knowledge and to debate relevant subjects for the whole chain related to equipment management, service and parts supply directed for construction and mining companies.

“The accomplishment of the M&T Parts and Services is an opportunity for the market since it is the sole trade show exclusively turned to the areas of management, aftersales solutions, bulk materials and components for construction and mining equipment and because aftersales and service management areas are important for financial sustainability and for company business”, says Hugo Ribas Branco, Director of Trade Shows from Sobratema.

In the area of equipment management, the trade show will present the technologic solutions for equipment monitoring, on-board electronics, telemetry, navigation systems, operation simulators and equipment management softwares.

In the area of spare parts, accessories and servic reading reading es, a series of new products in transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems, tires and undercarriage, lubricants, filters, testing laboratories, control systems, soil penetration tools, wear control, machine tools for shops, safety equipment, light equipment, load lashing and lifting devices, products and systems for environmental control, maintenance service rendering, insurance, transports and labor formation and training will also be presented.

The 2014 edition had 239 national and international exhibitors coming from 12 countries: Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, South Korea, Cuba, United States, India, Italy. It had a public of 12.959 highly-qualified professional including businessmen, managers, procurement managers, engineers, expert technicians of the industry.
