Presentation of the Week of Integrated Technologies gathered leaders of environment, construction and equipment industries

With the proposal of being a unique initiative in spreading technologies and knowledge in the areas of environment, construction, industry, mining and infrastructure, as well as in ensuring the interaction between all agents of their production chains, the Week of Integrated Technologies for Construction, Environment and Equipment was launched on September at the city of São Paulo. The event gathered a public of approximately 200 persons including leaderships, businesspersons, engineers and professionals from the areas of environment and of public and private construction, in addition to presspersons of the main publications of these areas.

Based on the theme overcoming, the event had the special participation of the Olympic volleyball champion Serginho. “This is a constant word in my life due to the way I came into volleyball, the way I got—together with my friends—the Olympic title and the way Brazil is living currently. We know that overcoming is essential to win in any area. I think that being here with important businesspersons and to pass them a small part of this message about overcoming helps to touch the heart of people. We hope that everything will work well in the area of each one”, said him.

The Week of Integrated Technologies for Construction, Environment and Equipment  will join between June 7 and 9, 2017 the main events of the industry: BW Expo 2017 – Trade Show of Services and Technologies for Sustainable Management of Water, Surplus, Air and Energy; Construction Expo 2017 – International Trade Show of Building and Infrastructure Works – Services, Materials and Equipment; M&T Peças e Serviços 2017 – Trade Show and Congress of Technology and Management of Equipment for Construction and Mining; and the Summit 2017, the largest event of this content in the Brazilian market.

Know the opinion of leaderships and businesspersons from the areas of environment, construction and equipment who were present at the launching event of the Week:

Congressman Itamar Borges, president of the Frente Parlamentar da Construção da Assembleia Legislativa de São Paulo

“This event shows that Sobratema is always at the front, organizing, planning and bringing new exhibitions and new events. Moreover, the Week comes in a moment of quite positive expectation of economy retaking. It comes to integrate technologies of construction, environment, equipment and everything else that is part of the chain of the construction industry. We always carried out an important partnership with Sobratema, where we are constantly looking for simplification of the questions involved”.

José Roberto Bernasconi, president of the Sindicato Nacional das Empresas de Arquitetura e Engenharia Consultiva (SINAENCO)

“Construction industry may contribute a lot for Brazil. In fact, it has a history of contribution. But we are passing through—I imagine and hope—the end of a very difficult cycle. I understand that when putting together a lot of important characters such as this, we may carry out an event that—in my point of view—will generate a significant impulse to ensure the retaking of development by the country, supported by these companies and by competent professionals”.

Filemon Lima, manager of the Departamento da Indústria da Construção da Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo (DECONCIC/FIESP)

“I see the Sobratema’s week of technology as the way to overcome the challenges imposed by the current economic situation. I see it as a positive attitude which bets in a retaking of investments and in a Brazil that may prosper. I believe that the simultaneous realization of four events of this size will be an incentive to make all the production chain of the civil construction face this moment as a point of challenge overcoming”.

Íria Doniak, executive president of the Associação Brasileira da Construção Industrializada de Concreto (ABCIC)

“I see the Week as an important development of the entire productive chain of civil construction. It will bring again new information that is extremely necessary—especially at this moment—for this retaking that all of us are waiting”.

Antônio Luis Aulicino, manager of institutional relations from the Associação Brasileira de Ensaios Não Destrutivos e Inspeção (ABENDI)

“I see this as a unique idea from Sobratema: to consolidate in a single space and to allow the access to different subjects for professionals and businesspersons of the construction. In the current situation, this rationalizes costs and becomes a very intelligent way of presenting products and systems related to different areas of construction. I was very fond of this new concept. There is no doubt that the importance of this model is fundamental in the scenario currently lived by the industry”.

Uladyr Ormindo Nayme, president of the ASEC-CETESB – Associação dos Engenheiros e Especialistas da CETESB e do Meio Ambiente

“The fusion of BW Expo with the construction market and with the areas of parts and services will increase the amplitude of this trade show and certainly will ensure an increase of quality for the environment, mainly if we consider the green construction, whose edifications generate less residues and wasted products, contributing for the quality of living and for the environment.

Agnaldo Lopes, product manager of JCB

“We are seeing that there is a trend of business improvement for the next years. Thus, the organization of the Week by Sobratema—which will join four events in one in the next year—is very important to give to the companies a place where they may show their products in a moment that the market is trying a retaking with the return of projects, and when we may have the opportunity of seeing the area growing again”.

Clayton Paulino, CEO of Rothenberger do Brasil

“This initiative is aligned with the perspectives for 2017, when everybody is waiting for a retaking of the economy. That is why it is necessary to start working before, to find alternatives and to see market chances. Our company already participates of some trade shows and exhibitions, but any opportunity is welcome. Undoubtedly the Week will be important to spread technology and mainly to be in contact with potential clients”.

Daniel Galante, operating director of the São Paulo Expo

“I think that this integration is very important, mainly in this challenging moment when the market needs to restart to grow. This is the moment to bring new products and the opportunity of contributing for the development of the entire market, since the Week will have events where many subjects will be discussed and many technologies will be presented”.

Drausio Lopes, new business manager from Mills

“This was a perfect initiative. It is a way to consolidate and organize information, to gather people of the highest level of knowledge and technology. It is a way to ensure all people of giving their contribution. Sobratema is always a pioneer in questions of aggregating and gathering work groups”.

Fernando Hermann Wickert, administrative director for Latin America from Aco Soluções em Drenagens

“We have good expectations about a larger increase of the market in the last quarter of this year and in the next year. Thus we believe that the simultaneous development of three exhibitions meets our projections related to an acceleration of business and to what we have to disclose for our clients. I believe that the Week will be extremely important for the current situation”.

Jorge Gloria, director of Comingersoll do Brasil

“The proposal of the Week is very interesting. It is a hope in the future, as well as the idea of overcoming brought currently, in a moment that we are passing through so many difficulties. The courage of start planning 2017 was undoubtedly the most important point that occurred in this event. And I hope this courage will result in a lot of success”.

Leandro Moura, marketing manager for Latin America from Manitowoc

“This is a comprehensive and complete initiative which meets the way the country is going, directed to recuperation. The idea and its development is precise and accurate. This is what has to be done. To take all facts into account, including environmental questions and construction techniques and involving engineers, architects and machines. It is a complete event and as it was presented, it is perfect”.

Luiz Henrique Ferreira, director of Inovatech Engenharia

“I think that the Week of Technology comes with an innovative proposal, the trend of integration of several events for different types of public. The world is quite connected currently. There are no more experts. It is necessary a holistic approach of the different fronts of construction. And the event comes with this approach: the visitor may be in four events at the same time, what is very interesting”.

Paulo Esteves, director of Solaris

“This initiative is very interesting because Sobratema—carrying out an event of this size in the moment of depression we are going through—increases the self-esteem of the industry and shows that there are opportunities even though the difficult situation”.

Ricardo Lessa, president of SCHWING-Stetter Brasil

“We always took part in all initiatives of Sobratema. Thus we never could stay out of this Week, especially in two areas: parts and services, with our aftersales solution, and BW Expo, with our industrial and environmental solutions. This is our intention”.

Ricardo Zurita, commercial manager of earthmoving from Liebherr Brasil

“I see this design of consolidating the three exhibitions together with the Summit as an important and interesting solution. It is the opportunity of joining the several areas of the construction industry—from maintenance and design to operation and environment—in a single Week. This concentration helps also the exhibitor, which may focus its investment in a more directed product”.

Yasuaki Kishimoto, director of sales and support to the client from Tadano Brasil

“This was a very good event which represented a large opportunity to understand what the Week will be. In addition, the Brazilian potential market has a wide capacity of growing, even facing these current difficulties in economic and politic terms”.
