Considered the most important event of content in both areas, it will gather at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center distinguished experts and professionals from Brazil and other countries who will bring updated information to support important decisions of businessmen, executives, engineers, architects, designers and professionals referred to the profitability of the operations of the companies involved with these areas. It will also gather representatives of public management, especially of municipalities (mayors, secretaries, councilors and others) and contribute to the inclusion of new projects in the academy, to the use of new technologies and innovative processes by government institutions and to disclose the benefits of different constructive systems and technologies turned to the environment through industry entities.
“The Sobratema Summit 2017 will be a real arena of knowledge. It will allow the updating and debate of the whole construction chain and of the environment about several subjects, from technology trends, market perspectives and current actions to the development of scenarios for the proposals of entities, government and companies to allow the start of a new phase of growth that may give direct benefits to the whole population”, points Afonso Mamede, president of Sobratema. Among the subjects to be considered are urban mobility, management of water, sanitation, technologies for waste materials handling, equipment rental, concrete technologies, construction systems, waterproofing, equipment maintenance, fleet management, certification, qualification and training of labor.
National entities such as the Union of Architecture and Engineering (Sinaenco), the Brazilian Association of Unions, Associations and Dealers of Equipment, Machine and Tool Rental Companies (Analoc) and institutions such as WRI Brazil Sustainable Cities and World of Concrete will participate of the event. The 5th Strategic Forum MATCON is also programmed in parallel.
In 2016, the Summit had a comprehensive program composed by seminars, congresses, courses, workshops and lectures, given by more than 45 experts from Brazil and foreign countries, which interacted with a public of approximately 1100 professionals, from the areas of construction and infrastructure. “These figures show the success of the initiative. In addition, we had a very positive evaluation from the public, from sector entities and from government organs in relation to the program and the qualification of the conferences. This also awarded the organization of the event”, explains Mamede. “Therefore, we were motivated to make a new edition this year, during the Week of Integrated Technologies for Construction, Environment and Equipment”, adds him.
The Week of Integrated Technologies will also include the BW Expo 2017 – Trade Show of Services and Technologies for Sustainable Management of Water, Waste, Air and Energy, the Construction Expo 2017 – Trade Show of Buildings and Infrastructure Works – Services, Materials and Equipment and the M&T Parts and Services 2017 – Trade Show and Congress of Technology and Management of Construction and Mining Equipment.
