The awarding ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) in Alphaville, metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (MG), on last June 27. Sponsored by the CNH Industrial Bank, this awarding is one of the most important of the country and acknowledges the best articles published in the areas of construction, transport, agribusiness and macro-economy. A total of 555 articles of all regions of the country were analyzed, being 226 from Macro-economy, 193 from Agribusiness, 77 from Transport and 59 from Construction.
The president of CNH Industrial for Latin America, Vilmar Fistarol, expressed his satisfaction in distinguishing and honoring eight of the most important articles published by the Brazilian press in the last 12 months. “We acknowledge the work of collecting information, disclosing facts and searching opinions and examples. The awarded articles explain quite well the features of Brazil, a country with extraordinary potential that continues to live a politic and economic moment of high uncertainty, surrounded by challenges”, said him.
To select the winners, the team of screening—formed by academics and pressmen—selected 40 articles taking into account their journalistic excellence, quality, creativity and contribution to the society. Then a Judging Committee—formed by experienced journalists, corporation executives, economists and university professors—selected the awarded professionals. “It is always a satisfaction to acknowledge and award the journalists that always translate the facts into information with quality for the reader”, said the Press Relations Manager from CNH Industrial, Jorge Görgen.
The article from Januário addresses the Brazilian economic scenario and shows how innovation and efficiency are being powerful strategies for the companies in facing this moment. The complete article is available at the site.
