A new date has been set for Brazil’s M&T construction machinery exhibition. The 11th edition of M&T Expo, the International Trade Fair for Construction and Mining Equipment, and part of the bauma NETWORK, will now take place from August 30th - September 2nd, 2022. The exhibition will be located at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre.
“After M&T Expo had to be postponed from its original date in July 2021 due to the pandemic situation in Brazil, the team worked to find the best date for the event, in view of the challenging scenario we are experiencing, mainly with regards to the readjustment of the events calendar in venues across the country. Our expectation is that the live event will be the big meeting point of the sector post-pandemic, and we are eager to see exhibitors and visitors from the construction and mining industry chain”, explained Rolf Pickert, managing director of Messe Muenchen do Brasil.
According to Afonso Mamede, president of Sobratema, M&T Expo has always played a leading role in the construction and mining equipment market, by promoting business and networking, presenting the main launches in the sector, pointing out trends and disseminating technical knowledge: “The decision to hold the event in 2022 received support from the entire production chain, from the manufacturers to suppliers and dealers and on to users and buyers. This approval shows the strength and unity of our segment and proves once again the importance of M&T Expo for the growth and competitiveness of the market and the technological development of the sector.”.
Rafael Rinaldi, exhibition director of M&T Expo, emphasises that, in the meantime, the team is working actively to promote business: “Especially in the digital environment we have intensified our efforts to bring qualified content to our exhibitor and visitor target groups and to keep the industry connected in a dynamic way 365 days/year.”
